Two anglers took us up on our new 'Drive & Survive' offer and they've had a good week with many fish. The weather was ideal, very hot at times and then lots of rain and muggy but the fish loved it! Will Finch and Ian Sinfield banked 29 carp out of 32 runs.
Will's catch return: 2 x 20lb, 26lb, 3 x 30lb, 35lb, 3 x 36lb, 37lb, 39lb, 2 x 41lb & 2 x 44lb.
Ian's catch return: 22lb, 22 ½lb, 23lb, 25lb, 26lb, 30 ½lb, 34lb, 37lb, 38lb, 45lb, 2 x 49lb, & 52 ½lb. Ian said - 'My first trip to France and it turned out to be something I never expected. Not only the venue and fish we caught but also the host John, a whole package that I cannot forget. John made us very welcome and have become someone who I shall not forget. Thanks for all the tips John, you have changed the way I fish completely, for the better!'
We would like to welcome more new guests to our venue and there will be choice of Packages or 'Drive & Survive' for 2012.
