Etang des Royales - "The Royal
Lake" - carp fishing holiday complex boasts superb
facilities for use exclusively by their guests.
The main house is home to our English manager, John,
his wife Magda and his son Ben. Inside is a large dining
room with a huge table, hand made by John and Ben, that
seats up to 20 people.
Adjacent to the dining room is a cosy bar where you
and your friends can relax before your meal is served.
Hope you will grace our dining table or bar and enjoy
a chat over old and new stories. In addition to this,
the main house is also kitted out with a small shop
stocking snacks, drinks, bait and tackle, as well as
those essential items such as a toothbrush or batteries
that you may have forgotten during the excitement of
getting away from it all for the week! In the entrance-room
you can see the dartboard; if you play darts bring them
with you and try your luck. |

Also available for hire is a detached 2 bedroom chalet
– that has been completely refurbished and is waiting
for you for the 2008 season – which is capable of
sleeping 5 people. It comprises of a separate lounge,
breakfast bar, toilet and shower. The chalet provides
an ideal base for families or groups of individuals looking
for a more comfortable alternative to bivvying up on the
main lake. |

Situated next to the main lake is a purpose-built shower
and toilet block with separate male and female facilities,
there are two large showers with piping hot water available,
each with its own changing facility, we also have two
sinks and plenty of space for you to hang your clothes,
these showers are cleaned regularly and kept to a very
high standard.

We built on the beach, overlooking the small lake, a sturdy barbecue. Also we are planning to finish another one next to the bar so when the weather is fine we can all enjoy a meal outside - the choice is yours. It will be an extra charge of 10 euros per head for the barbecue evening. |
